If you were married in the 1980s or 1990s, your wedding video was very likely shot on S-VHS, a semi professional format that gave almost twice the quality of VHS.

Depending on storage conditions, S-VHS video tapes have a life or around 30-40 years. They degrade overtime due to the magnetic coating becoming detached from the backing material. This leads to a 'snowy' effect or in severe cases can cause the reels to jam

S-VHS video transfers to MPEG4 and ProRes digital files normally 10 working days. However, if you need your work urgently, we have a rush service (extra charge).

PAL-NTSC Video Conversions

If you have S-VHS tapes in in NTSC format, they will need to converted to PAL format to play on UK television equipment.

Conversely, PAL (UK) recorded video will need be converted TO NTSC for use in countries such as Japan and USA .

Some of our customers require editable files for editing on a PC or MAC. We normally supply editable MPEG4 files which can play on both systems, bur other file formats are available on request.

Editable file sizes can be very large so you may need to supply an external hard drive or large capacity camera card or USB stick - we can supply USB sticks at cost.

PDF Video Price List

If you give us 6 to 10 videos there is a huge discount - just £22 per tape.

If you give us 11 or more video tapes there is a massive discount - just £18 per tape.
