Video Tape Transfer
We copy and transfer standard VHS as well as popular and specialist video tape formats from the 1970s onwards.
Our transfer work is completed in-house at our Highgate, London studio. You are welcome to visit us, or send your tapes securely by post.

Timebase Correction
Often, making a straight copy of an old video is not enough. Analogue tape playback has a reputation for being unstable causing the video to 'wobble'.
Playback is electronically stabilised before the picture is processed. Timebase correction helps us produce a stable, standards-compliant digital transfer of your recordings.
Editable Files
Choose MPEG4 files for convenient playback or ProRes files for editing.
These editable computer files are compatible with Apple Mac OSX or Windows systems and software applications.
These can be delivered on an external hard drive supplied by yourself or even high capacity Memory Cards.

About our digital files
Choose MPEG4 files for convenient playback on modern devices, or ProRes files when you plan to edit the footage.
Files are normally named using the labels on your source tapes unless you give us different instructions.
We normally retain a working copy for 30 days, allowing us to provide a replacement if a delivery is lost or a supplied file proves faulty.
Post and Packing
Smaller orders are returned using a tracked postal service, while larger orders are sent by courier.
Payment can be made by card or through the payment options confirmed with your order.
Video Transfer Prices
Video transfer to MPEG4 and ProRes digital files starts at just £25 per tape for a single tape with discounts given for quantities.
You can choose between MPEG4 files for convenient playback or ProRes files for editing for home computer editing.
If you give us 6 to 10 videos there is a huge discount - just £22 per tape.
If you give us 11 or more video tapes there is a massive discount - just £18 per tape.

We have studios on Highgate London N6. Callers are welcome and Mail Order customers can shop online with us with comple. te peace of mind.
